Hayes & Partners Financial Year Review

2nd May 2023

Hayes & Partners has seen tremendous amounts of growth and progression this past year. As well as cementing our presence in the German and Benelux markets, we’ve grown our reach in the APAC regions alongside increasing our US presence with the launch of our financial services team and the opening of our New York office.

Partner, Ricky Roy, outlines our success in the legal markets this past year.

“Regarding our growth in the legal sphere, we have delivered on some market leading team moves and Partner hires across the Benelux and DACH regions. In addition to this, we completed our first engagements in NYC with both law firms and corporate groups.

Our in-house legal business is going from strength to strength across all of those jurisdictions listed above, including working with investment firms, some of the largest automotive, chemics, telecoms and energy companies in the world.”

Additionally, this past year saw the launch of our financial services team. One of our associates, Charlie Scott, outlines how this team has grown in the past year.

“The financial services team had a great first year of business. We strengthened our foothold in our German market and have started to expand across wider Europe. We also introduced a team dedicated to the US financial markets and have made significant steps in this area. Our headcount increased by 300% in this team enabling us to supply the demands of both clients & candidates. As a team, we made noticeable placements ranging analysts in small cap funds, all the way up to Director level in large cap clients across Europe.

The coming year we will look to continue to grow & establish our place in the industry. The natural growth within the company will allow us to follow on our achievements this year & achieve our goals on a more global scale.”

One of the main achievements this past year for Hayes & Partners has been the launch of first international office in Bryant Park, New York. Managing Partner, Dan Hurd, outlines what H&P USA has achieved so far and what the rest of 2023 will look like.

“In the first 90 days, we opened our office in Bryant Park and are engaging law firm clients throughout the NYC area.  The New York H&P team successfully placed candidates in Attorney, Paralegal and Legal Secretary roles.

Throughout the rest of 2023, we look forward to growing our internal recruiting team, expanding our legal placement services outside of the NYC area into other major markets and launching our legal contract services offering.”

All of this success has seen Hayes & Partners become a finalist for several prestigious award bodies and saw our co-founder Jack Hayes recognised with the Silver award for Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the SME National Business Awards.

“I’m really proud that all of our team have all expanded their understanding of their respective markets to the point where our younger team members are placing Partner and Council level positions. We’re now consistently hearing feedback from our clients and candidates that our team’s professionalism and market understanding is far superior to many domestic executive search firms.”

“Our prospects for 2023/24 look incredibly exciting. Many of our consultants are at the point where they’re starting to develop their own smaller book of business within Hayes & Partners.”
